POSIC introduces the highly miniaturized inductive encoder kit T3401C for rotary applications. The encoder-head measures only 11 x 11 mm with a thickness of 0.9 mm and provides A and B pulses in quadrature and an Index pulse. The pulse-frequency ranges from 0 Hz up to 200 kHz. The extremely small dimensions allow the encoder to be integrated inside motoers, machines, equipment etc. The encoder kit includes a codewheel made of printed circuit board. The resolution is programmed ex-factory upon customer demand and may vary from 256 to 4096 PPR (10 - 14 bit).
The main features of this encoder are its extremely small dimensions and its insensitivity to dust, water, oil, grease and even magnetic fields.
The IT3401C encoders are typically used in applications like electric motors, rotary tables, pick & place assembly equipment, robots etc.
Evaluation kits containing two cabled encoders, a codewheel and an interface board are available from stock.
