Linear Encoder

A linear encoder kit consists of an encoder-head and a linear scale. This type of linear encoder is often referred to as kit encoder, frameless encoder or exposed encoder. The linear encoder heads are available in two versions: with a cable to be glued into an application or as an encoder-chip that is suitable for surface-mount assembly. The scale is a Printed Circuit Board with copper patterns that is easy to mount and that can easily be cut to the desired length. Below you find an overview of POSIC's linear encoders.

POSIC is a Swiss company and delivers its inductive encoder kits worldwide.
