The AP9600C absolute encoder kit consists of an encoder and a codewheel. The encoder consists of two inductive position sensors that read the two tracks of the codewheel, a microcontroller that calculates the absolute position and an RS422 receiver/driver that forms the SSI interface. The codewheel is a PCB with two tracks of passive copper strips.
The Evaluation & Programming Tool allows to configure the encoder, carry out a self-calibration, program the configuration and calibration data in the encoder, record and analyze measurements and carry out self-diagnosis.
